Psychodynamic theory may serve as a foundation to therapy sessions.
The word "dynamics" in psychodynamics is borrowed from thermodynamics, the brand of physics that describes how different kinds of energy interacts and transforms.
Psychodynamics describes the psychological and emotional forces that interact in a person’s mind, and how the energy of these forces may respond to and affect current life situations. Thus, drawing observations from childhood and it’s effects on the mind can provide insights to current challenges. Utilizing these insights can help transform the thoughts and beliefs that no longer serve you into beliefs and behaviors that do. This will allow you to manage life situations more effectively, and recognize the power that awaits you within.
Everyone is unique, and treatment methods will be individualized to each person's needs.
When appropriate, a thoughtful and conservative approach to medication and it’s management may be practiced.
